Starting out with no expectations is best. Be open to all the possibilities as you begin. No projections will bring supreme success.

It is auspicious to go forward.

No expectation brings you into a situation that is already prepared for success. In such an exceptional situation, you may proceed (tilling) without doing the usual preliminary preparations (clearing).

Positive projections or strong expectations do not guarantee a positive outcome. "Tethering the ox" means trying to prematurely harden or solidify your future. Things do not go as you expected (lost ox). A farmer's loss is a drifter's gain.
